High Lonesome

The High-Lonesome Silhouette Club was formed January 2004 with Johnny Robinson as President and Lloyd May as Vice President.  At this time High-Lonesome Silhouette Club (H.L.S.C.) started rebuilding the rifle silhouette range which consisted of an eight position uncovered range. In July of 2004 H.L.S.C. had 8 members.

In 2010 the 1st annual match and the 1st night match for H.L.S.C. was established.  All matches were fired from a new 3 position range. Membership was 13 members and the club conducted 25 matches averaging 14 shooters per match.

In 2012, membership increased to 34 members. H.L.S.C. conducted 28 matches averaging 20 shooters per match.

In 2016, membership was 33 members. H.L.S.C. conducted 38 matches averaging 23 shooters per match. Range improvements were started to move to 4 positions on the firing line, and the Hobbs Gun Club installed electrical service to the range.

In 2021, membership was 38 members, and H.L.S.C. conducted 55 matches averaging 32 shooters per match.
